EV Rental Resources & FAQ

What are the rental rates?

Our standard electric fleet packages start at $500 plus tax weekly, while luxury tier models are $700 per week without tax. Pricing remains fully clear for independent operators. To start, submit an online rental request. Once approved, you can view our live inventory to select a vehicle option that fits your specific rideshare budget or preference for the Denver region.

Do you offer monthly discounts?

Certainly. Independent drivers committing to multi-week rentals get an automated $50 off weekly pricing.

Is a security deposit required?

A refundable security deposit is required before vehicle pickup. The deposit is generally $500 for Standard EVs and $750 for Premium EVs. Deposit amounts may vary based on the vehicle and rental terms. After the vehicle is returned and inspected, the remaining deposit will be released after outstanding rental charges, tolls, charging charges, excess mileage, damage, cleaning, tickets, and missing equipment have been reconciled.

What are the mileage allowances?

Each rental includes up to 1,750 miles per seven-day rental period. Additional mileage is charged at $0.30 per mile. Unused mileage does not roll over to future rental periods. Monthly plans include up to 7,000 miles during each four-week billing period.

What maintenance is included?

Routine scheduled maintenance and normal mechanical service are included when completed through Prime Solutions or an approved service provider. Renters must respond promptly to warning lights, report mechanical concerns, and make the vehicle available for scheduled service. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, or failure to respond to vehicle warnings is the renter’s responsibility.

How do you handle tire damage and replacement?

Prime Solutions covers tire rotations and replacement resulting from normal wear. Renters are responsible for punctures, curb damage, wheel damage, sidewall damage, and other road-hazard or driver-caused damage. All tire repairs and replacements must be authorized by Prime Solutions.

What insurance coverage is required?

Insurance requirements and coverage vary according to the vehicle, rental agreement, rideshare platform, and circumstances of a claim. Prime Solutions will provide the applicable insurance information, renter responsibility, and damage deductible before the rental agreement is signed. Only approved renters may operate a Prime Solutions vehicle.

Are charging costs included?

No. Power costs are:

  • The responsibility of the driver
  • Based on the local charging station rates
  • Determined by your total driven mileage
  • Billed via your choice of charger network mobile apps

While drivers pay for power, the cost efficiency of electricity over traditional fuel allows operators to retain higher margins for their enterprise.

Who pays for tolls and parking tickets?

Renters are responsible for all tolls, parking tickets, traffic-camera citations, towing charges, and other violations incurred while the vehicle is in their possession. Tolls billed to Prime Solutions will be charged to the renter’s payment method at the amount billed, plus a $5 processing fee for each weekly billing period in which tolls occur. The processing fee is capped at $20 per four-week period.

Renters should pay parking and traffic citations directly and provide proof of payment. If Prime Solutions must process or pay a citation, the renter will be charged the actual amount plus a $50 administrative fee. Delayed tolls and citations may be charged after the rental ends.

What should I do if I’m in an accident?

If an accident occurs, move to a safe location when possible, call 911 when appropriate, and report the incident to Prime Solutions immediately. Photograph the scene and damage, exchange information, notify the applicable rideshare platform, and complete the required accident report within 24 hours. Do not admit fault, continue driving an unsafe vehicle, or authorize repairs without approval.

What happens if I pay late?

Weekly rental payments are charged in advance. If a payment fails, the renter has a 24-hour grace period to bring the account current. A $25 late fee may apply after the grace period. If payment remains unpaid, Prime Solutions may decline renewal and require the vehicle to be returned according to the rental agreement.

What if the vehicle breaks down?

Roadside assistance is available for covered mechanical breakdowns and vehicle-related failures. Charges may apply for preventable incidents, including an empty battery, lost keys, lockouts, unauthorized towing, impoundment, off-road recovery, or driver-caused tire damage.

Can I extend my rental?

Weekly rentals have a seven-day minimum and may be renewed in seven-day periods, subject to payment, eligibility, maintenance, and vehicle availability.

Can I return the vehicle early?

Renters should provide at least 48 hours’ notice if they do not intend to renew. Payments for a rental period that has already begun are generally nonrefundable. Discounted four-week plans require a four-week commitment; an early return may cause prior discounted weeks to be recalculated at the standard weekly rate.

Who qualifies for an EV rental?

Drivers must be 25 or older with a valid license and clean motor vehicle report. A current partnership with a service like Uber is required since you operate as an independent contractor. We evaluate MVR data to confirm your eligibility. Submitting your files quickly enables us to finalize your rental accord so you can start driving now.

Where do I pick up the vehicle?

We serve the Denver hub. After your documents are approved, we will send the exact pickup location and time to finalize your vehicle handover and safety walkthrough process.

How long does approval take?

Most driver applications are reviewed within 1–2 business days. Once approved, you can collect your EV and commence work immediately. We pride ourselves on facilitating fast access.
